It is with great emotion that we leave Ste Marie Island yesterday at the end of the afternoon. We see her slowly walk away, bathed in light.
With very little wind, we decided to put the engine in order to get away from the currents that were slowing the boat’s progress.
It is under a calm and starry night that we recall all the good memories of our stay.
When you wake up, the sea is magnificent and the wind plays hide and seek with us, it comes and goes constantly.
In the afternoon, the wind became stable and the boat is moving well with an average of 5 knots and a small southerly swell.
We take samples from the surface of the water with the micro plastic collection nets, which we will have analyzed once inside. We have not seen any boat since we left and we have not seen anything in particular at sea.
