We left the immobility of the Port Louis quay in the afternoon in a 13 knot wind. Boat prepared for at least a week at sea.
We are touching a little wind and Telebrix is happy to show us what it is capable of. This ship surprises us every day with its reliability and glide.
2nd “Julia” net sampling carried out, not without difficulty because the sea is forming. However, the implementation by side trawling with the spinnaker pole is functional. It seems less rich in plankton but the particles in suspension suggest that we will surely find micro plastics during the analysis (given the quantities of macro waste observed in the water).
The ocean is magnificent and we are all delighted to rediscover its moods …
